Yola Moride, PHD, FISPE President & Founder



    Professor Yola Moride is a globally recognized expert in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance. With over 20 years of experience in the conduct of observational drug utilization and risk evaluation studies, she is a Fellow, and former president, of the International Society for Pharmacoepiemiology (ISPE). She holds academic, regulatory, and hospital appointments, and is an elected member of the Executive Committee of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP).

     

    Prof. Moride is an Associate Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy, at the Université de Montréal; and a Visiting Professor at the Université Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2. She is a researcher at the Pharmacoepidemiology Unit of the University of Montréal Hospital Research Center (CRCHUM). Prof. Moride is an appointed member of the World Health Organization’s CIOMS Working Group IX, the European Medicines Agency’s Steering Group of the ENCePP, and a member of Health Canada’s Science Advisory Board. She has currently over 65 articles published in peer-reviewed journals including the NEJM. She has made over 85 presentations at scientific conferences, authored 6 book chapters, and delivered over 40 invited industry presentations. She holds degrees in Genetics (MSc) and Pharmacoepidemiology (PhD) from McGill University and has trained as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Pharmacovigilance Centre at the University of Bordeaux (France).

 

Thierry Ducruet, MSC Vice President, Research



    Mr. Ducruet has over 15 years of experience in clinical and late-phase research in Europe and North America. He is expert in statistical programming, data analysis, and the reporting of clinical trials. From study conception to results communication, Mr. Ducruet has deep knowledge of pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, data mining, and signal detection. His main therapeutic areas of interest are cardiovascular, geriatrics, intensive care, and ophthalmology; moreover, he has worked and published in more than a dozen other important therapeutic areas.

     

    For over ten years, Mr. Ducruet has collaborated with Yolarx Consultants and its president, Dr. Yola Moride. Furthermore, he is an active consultant in the development of a North American pediatric hospital-based clinical research unit. Mr. Ducruet has co-authored over 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
